OO Metrics Software Quality Estimation/Prediction Software Reliability
Estimation Product Metrics
Abstract:
Research on OO Metrics has been going on for a long time. Many of the OO
metrics have been proposed and are being applied. Most of the OO Metrics are
used only after a product is completed because they rely upon the
information extracted from the implementation of product to estimates the
quality of software. It is also true that a couple of OO Metrics altogether
may be used to measure all the aspects of Object- oriented Design. Thus,
there appeared to be need for developing a single integrated OO Metrics,
encompassing all the OO design constructs, which may be used in early stage
of development to give good indication of Software Quality. It is strongly
felt to be more productive and constructive.
In this regard, I am trying to develop an integrated OO Metric with the
help of available CK metrics that may be used in early stage of software
development and can predict quality of software.
